How Can We Prevent Misinformation?

I believe that there should be some sort of way to make sure that any news being reported on social media can be verified to make sure that the spread of misinformation can’t take place. That doesn’t mean to delete the post as that would be unethical to delete a post because it does not contain the news we want to hear, but at the very least there should be some sort of verification system that allows social media companies to check the factual authenticity of news and if a post is spreading false information then there should be a small indicator that warns that the information being posted…
