I believe that that the story on the Tree of Knowledge impacts negatively the relationship between humans and the environment. For example, Eve was sent to the ground to work and suffer in order to survive. This depicts the environment as being something that we have to tend to, a punishment. Instead of being a gift we were given to be able to nourish our environment and make it flourish.
