On April 9th, 2016, a conspiracy theorist declares to have seen a Kraken swimming in the coast of Deception Island near Antarctica. In the article, he claims to have spotted this monster using Google Earth. Apparently, the conspirator used Google ruler to know how big the “Kraken” was. It was about 30 meters from head to end and the thing that was sticking out of the water looked just like a giant tentacle. This article has cumulated a total of 10k shares. That means 10k persons thought this news was real and shared it to other people. That’s a lot of fake news going around.
