The original image was a photo taken of an arch at Arches National Park. I altered the photo in a few different ways. The original photo was taken during sunrise, but the background was muted. I chose to replace the background with a more aesthetically pleasing sunrise. Another alteration I made to change the tone of the photo was using photoshop to transform the rocks to look like an oil painting.
