I think that's what divided our society today. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, they acknowledged good and evil and were ashamed to be naked. In fact, it seems that this acknowledgement implored "Universal Laws" (modesty, dignity, honor, etc.) to compare our actions with what was just acknowledged as moral or not. By summarizing all this, I think eating this fruit was the creation of consciousness that differs for each one of us. We all can't make one anymore.
