Inclusion is a way to create a safe space for all students to been accepted. This space welcomes students with differences and shows them that they have a voice within our society. Universal designs for learning, cooperative learning and peer tutoring, and tiered lesson plans are effective practices to incorporate within an inclusive classroom. As a teacher who strongly believes in the inclusion model, I believe that it is important to be flexible and understand of all your students’ need in order to ensure that your classroom runs smoothly.
