A teacher's success can only begin to be measured if every child in the class has been included. We believe that equity is as much a part of education as the diversity of every learner. An I.E.P. supports inclusion as it provides teachers with adjusted academic and behavioral goals for children of diverse capabilities. Inclusion in the classroom should not only be viewed as possible, but should be considered the shared commitment and privilege of every educator.
