For this first section of the book I will be investigating the use of drugs and the problems and addiction associated with it. Through research and analysis of various statistics, I discovered that drug use is very prevalent especially in the case of deaths caused by drug overdose. A shocking fact I discovered was that form 1999 to 2017, more than 702000 people have died from drug overdose, this is a scary number and it really makes you wonder what kind of society we live in where so many people are dying this tragic way.
