Is Canada a representative democracy?

The goal of this post is to related the sustainable development goal of the United Nations number 16 which is to : Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels (UN, 2020). More specificly target 16.7 (I only have 250 words to elaborate sorry) : Ensure responsive, inclusive, participatory and representative decision-making at all levels (UN, 2020).
