As the days go by, discoveries about the mind are continually being made. The article I have chosen to be the subject of my blog post states that a memory is made of many different aspects and all our memories (even the ones we don’t remember) are the constitution of our brain which is utterly the constitution of ourselves. Our memories use our previous experiences to make us decide how to react to new or similar ones. The article also adds that the brain’s molecules, cells and synapses have a notion of time and this is the reason memories exist according to a news article published in Neuron.
