Jamal Khashoggi a Washington Post columnist who was a critic of the Saudi government vanished since last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on 2 October. Turkish officials said they believe that he was tortured and killed inside the consulate by Saudi agents after which his body was removed.
