James Bay Project: Three Parties, One Agreement

I had the privilege to participate at the 2022 McMUN (McGill’s Model United Nations). My assigned committee was the French Bilingual. The James Bay Project was the subject of debate and the year was 1973. The weekend took place on sessions of moderated debates and teamwork on the same project proposal. There were three parties present in this committee: Indigenous communities, Hydro-Québec, and governments (both provincial and federal).
