I recently enjoyed watching the Oscar-nominated film Killers of the Flower Moon directed by Martin Scorsese starring Blackfoot actress and Golden Globe winner Lily Gladstone and Leonardo DiCaprio. This movie recounts the harrowing tale of the Osage murders in Osage County, Oklahoma from the 1910s-1930s based on David Grann’s book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. While the length of this movie is quite daunting (three and a half hours), it is still well worth the watch and deserves the recognition it received this past year.
