Nowadays, many scientists study the barriers which separate humans from animals. Sometimes, their discoveries are surprising as we can notice that animals have capacities which were once believed to be unique to humans. Indeed, language was one of the traits which seemed to be owned only by human beings. According to the encyclopedia of cognitive science, language is “ the human system of units of sound compounded into words, in turn combined through grammatical rules (syntactically) to form a mode of communication”(Grillo).
