Throughout the garden tour, I became more aware of how important insects and small vegetation are to us and to the whole ecosystem of our planet as well. These different plants and leaves are home to many different little insects underground and outside. They can use these plants as a shelter from meteorological conditions or their predators, and they can also use it as food just like caterpillars eat leaves, and are then able to become a majestic butterfly.
