On Friday, March 4th during the spring break, we (Mihaela and Katie) visited the world’s first commercial rooftop greenhouse in Montreal (for about 2 hours), called the Lufa Farm. As participants in the “J’ai le bac vert!” project organized by Alliance Carrière Travail, the goal was to empower and educate youths on the importance of environmental awareness as well as brainstorm ways to take action in preserving an ecological lifestyle.
