I decided to use a self-portrait to start with since I am new to digital. As opposed to my original image I added some transparency and other images. With the digital manipulation I added some more meaning and personality to the photo. I don’t want to say that one photo has more truth than the other, but the manipulated photo gives more of a story as opposed to just a regular selfie. The altered image tells you what I care about and general ideas about my aesthetics. I care about the Earth and our connection to it.
