Banksy has been using the rats for years in his artworks and the rat is even the logo for Pest Control, “a handling service that acts on his behalf and determines whether the artist was responsible for creating a work”. I HIGHLY recommend looking through the website for Pest Control. The artist’s continuous mockery for legality and authority shows even on the FAQ. It’s fun to read through, for sure.
