On Friday, September 22nd, I witnessed for the first time a Pow Wow at McGill University. While I was there, I had the chance to see different activities and traditions. It all started with traditional dances from different Indigenous communities. I first saw a traditional women’s dance, followed by a men’s dance. As you can see on the image, the dancers were wearing beautiful and colorful traditional clothing. Another dance that took place was one which included the spectators as well.
