Previously in class, we have discussed Evelyn Alsultany's introduction to the book, Arabs and Muslim in the media. In this book, we learned that after the tragic event of 9/11, they was an increase of sympathetic representation for Muslims and Arabs. We also learned that the government ultimately changed some laws that discriminates Muslim and Arabs. We also looked on how Arabs and Muslims are misrepresented into a good or bad group.
