A reflection on a virtual exchange project which brought together future teachers in the USA and Ukraine in the spring of 2023, this chapter offers an example of missed opportunities for participants to engage in person-to-person peacebuilding and “do” interculturality through online international collaboration. Drawing on project participants’ descriptions of their experiences, the author offers “lessons learned,” examining her own role(s) in this and future online collaborations.
