In May 2021, I was hunting for a summer job and all I knew was that I wanted to do something that was related to non-profits. As I was scouring through Indeed, I fell upon an organization called Public Outreach based in Montreal. They are a fundraising agency that works directly through NGOs like Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, UNICEF, and so on. I was instantly interested and applied for the job. After a week, I was officially integrated with their team and I started to learn the ropes of being a fundraiser in the streets of Montreal.
