From what I have gathered over the years, Thanksgiving was a "holiday" that I always felt guilty for celebrating, knowing the history that follows it. But what I hadn't realized, was just how deep that history actually was. "Thanksgiving" was built on lies, cheating, abuse, and murder of Indigenous people.
