Not Affected Therefore Not Involded

In his 1963 “Letter from a Birmingham Jail,” Martin Luther King Jr. criticizes that the real problem is not members of the Ku Klux Klan, or the white citizens' counselor, but the white moderates. As described by Martin Luther King Jr., white moderates sympathize with the Civil Rights Movement but do not act on it, white moderates are “more devoted to order than to justice”. White moderates agree with the ending goal but not with the action needed in order to achieve it. Outright rejection is preferable to a half-hearted acceptance, according to King.
