An event this week has particularly caught my attention; the protests lead by nurses blocking bridges in Montreal. The event was covered by CTV news Montreal and published Monday October 9th, 2020. Nurses are protesting their excessive workload. Due to the current situation, many nurses are quitting their jobs in the public sector to move to the private sector and in general as well. Their quality of life as also taken a tool; working more than twelve hours a day short staffed is not ideal for physical nor mental health.
