Ocean’s 8 is a female-driven heist film and it does shows gender equality. As when Lou and Debbie was looking for new partner-in-crime they talked about gender equality. As Lou said “what about him”? And Debbie replied that “ a him gets noticed, a her gets ignored and for once, we wanna be ignored”. So with this argument, it is depicted that man has already got a-lot of advocacy in movies and media. So Debbie wants that the masterminds behind this heist should be the women.
