After our visit at Vanier College, I came to realize how this CEGEP is way closer to a Green College than we are. I believe that Champlain still has a long way to go. I found interesting how they say they want to go “net zero” emission by planting trees. It’s. not an easy goal, since schools are considered the third-biggest energy consumer. Achieving such a goal would make the impossible possible. Also, the idea of selling fair trade product is highly respectable, since with small initiatives of various institutions our world will become about equality and equity of individuals.
