On August 25th of this year, I attended for the first time the Closing Summit of the 2022 Cross-Canada Official Languages Consultations in Ottawa. The summit was the final stage of the consultations that began in May in British Columbia. The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Official Languages and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency; organized this event with the intention that people who are involved in any which way in the official languages of this country could reflect and share perspectives, experiences, and knowledge.
