While reading about Dawson’s initiatives concerning the environment, I was surprised how many of their initiatives could easily be reproduced at Champlain in order to become more sustainable as a school. The first and in my opinion easiest initiative is the implementation of a compost bin. Dawson College has a composting system where biodegradable waste are transformed into a rich and healthy soil.
