The issue I chose to research is oppression against indigenous communities. I am interested in this subject because it is a locally situated contemporary issue. In our community, the main reasons why indigenous are oppressed are isolation and ignorance. In this research, I would like to answer what I mean by isolation and why ignorance is one of the main reasons behind oppression against indigenous people. What questions could I cover to make it more interesting? What can I photograph in order to capture something about my issue that will serve to support my argument?
