Origins of "woman"

As a proud feminist, I firstly wanted to choose this word to see how this fight for equality started. But then, I realized that the word feminist was a French borrowing, so asked myself “What is coming even before that word?”, “What is at the beginning of all this?”. Then I found it. The very beginning of the feminism is the woman itself, and it is with this word that everything started. So, there is the origins of the word woman.
