In chapter 12, we saw how Shawn took advantage of Sadie and abusing her sister Tara. She wants to be unbreakable or seems to see herself as unbreakable. Tara hasn’t met the long terms affect of the incident. She could grow by being afraid of men or thinks that all males are the same and she’ll grow by having this mentality. By saying that all this doesn’t affects her, she wanted to convince herself, well that’s what I am thinking. She is mad at herself for being so weak, that she let someone break her like it was nothing.
