This picture was taken during my trip to Milan last week. I saw the recycling bins like the one in the photo everywhere in the subway stations, it contributes enormously to waste sorting and management. I've also seen bins like this in other parts of Europe. Another thing I noticed was, in Milan, people don't have the habits to hold paper coffee cups or plastic cups when they walk on the street, and I barely saw any any plastic bags and cups in their garbage bins.
