On May 9th of 2022, I took part in the Spectacle des ateliers: Les voies de la poésie. Alongside a few other students from Champlain, I interpreted two unique and distinct poems. The first one is entitled “When I Become You” by Teva Harrison. It is a poem about the poet herself who has cancer and how it affects her relationship. From the moment I first read it, I instantly thought it was beautifully written.
