Poverty in this world is still very present. In fact, extreme poverty is defined as living on less than $1.90 a day and it affect between 9.1% and 9.4% of the world’s population in 2020, according to the biennial Poverty and Shared Prosperity Report. This means that nearly 70 million humans live in extreme poverty, 150 million if we broaden the spectrum of poverty.
