My term paper is about encouraging small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The dilemma is if people should be obliged to do so, or if it would go against their consumer’s rights. While supporting our local businesses will help them pursue their activities, the price for customers is likely to be higher. On the other hand, buying from bigger businesses may be more beneficial for customers who may also have financial problems, but this may lead to the bankruptcy of many small businesses.
