The fifteenth goal brought forth by the United Nations (UN) regarding sustainable development ”is about conserving life on land. It is to protect and restore terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and stop biodiversity loss.“ (United Nations, 2023) Summarized, it simply means we have to preserve wildlife.
