The virtual exchange program with Texas students was so much more than I expected in terms of learning. I learned from the economic topics on local industries, financial literacy, and globalization, but most importantly, the way cultural perspectives shape economic decisions. These discussions really allowed me to dive deeper into economics and be more reflective on economic issues within my community.
