Restoring Balance is also Knowing When to Stop

I agree with Winona LaDuke’s statement. To truly attain sustainability, we must balance the amount we take from Earth with the amount we give back, because if we take too much, the Earth’s resources will eventually be exhausted, which will mark the start of major extinction not only for wildlife, but for even us, humans. As Thomas Berry words it better, our planet is resilient, and possesses “extensive powers of recovery”, but it can only take so much damage since these powers are “limited”.
