As the years went by, our society has become more and more materialistic, leading people to a constantly growing demand. With this excessive production and consumption, the population seems to forget the magnitude of impacts generated on the environment. This indeed is the main reason that inspired the twelfth goal of the United Nations which consists of ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns.
