Our goal for this project is to reduce the plastic waste produced by the utensils handed out in the school's cafeteria. Right now, the cafeteria provides a plastic fork, knife and spoon wrapped in a plastic bag. For someone who just needs a single fork, this is very wasteful and could be easily avoidable. We are pursuing this goal in an attempt to lower the carbon foot-print produced by the school. This is just one small step in helping Champlain college become a sustainable campus.
