As the Vice President of Finances in my student association, I had the opportunity to help clubs at our CEGEP manage their budgets while promoting sustainability. One of the most impactful examples was working with Shine, a performing arts club, to reduce their expenses for an upcoming show. Instead of purchasing brand-new costumes, we explored the option of buying second-hand ones, a choice that aligned with both budget constraints and environmental values.
