It is interesting to debate how ethics should influence science. Considering how modern scientific advancements in areas such as nuclear weapons, cloning and sex change are the causes of modern problems and moral dilemmas, the following question can be asked: should we stop doing science? Virtue ethicist Aristotle would argue that we should not stop doing science but should also not use it violently to gain power and/or wealth.
