Should employees be fired based upon their social media posts?

Nowadays, everyone uses social media. It is a place to express personal feelings. Whether it's going out shopping for clothes or maybe just a very sad day, people post all kinds of stuff on social media. Therefore, there surely are posts that are just not as appropriate as it should be. What will people think of the ones that have racist, sexist posts on their social media accounts?
