Should the Government Adopt Bill 21?

Raquel Fletcher’s article, “Quebec to adopt religious symbols ban”, published in Global News on June 16th, 2019 is about the debate on Quebec’s government wanting to adopt Bill 21. In this article, Fletcher explains both party’s position, but especially the government’s argument in favor of adopting this law. To give some context, Bill 21 is a law that seeks to ban public employees in positions of authority from wearing any religious symbols, it includes teachers, judges, police officers as well as others.
