My term paper discusses the problem of overfishing and the morality associated with its subsidization. In my opinion, government subsidies should indeed be removed because they encourage the malpractices of this industry and consequently deteriorate our environment. My essay will shed further light on this topic, demonstrate how both John Rawls and John Stuart Mill would interpret the situation and will show how their contrasting theories conflict with one another.
