At Dawson College, sustainability is a great deal, around ten different initiatives are in place and all are benefiting the environment with the principle of reciprocity. For example, as Vanier College, a zero net carbon emission is part of their main initiatives. This is achievable due to a former student’s non-profit organization called “Taking Root.” They work together to plant over 5000 trees in Nicaragua which will have many positive consequences.
