Our course is named as “Understanding the Family” it itself justifies about knowing the family, it’s functions and its types. As an early childhood educator, it is really imperative to learn about family types as it can have a huge impact on children’s behaviour. Knowledge of family functions and types creates a deeper understanding of young children's lives. This knowledge is critical to teachers' ability to help children learn and develop well.
