This project, which builds upon a successful pilot program which will establish a tailoring and garment producing centre enabling severely marginalized young women (destitute widows, orphans, abandoned, and ex- sex-workers) to obtain employment in tailoring and garment manufacturing through attending a training programme that will give women (i) skills in designing, cutting and sewing garments (ii) business and financial awareness to enable them to be effective sole traders (iii) access to capital equipment (sewing machines etc).
