Vanier College had tons of sustainability initiatives that were shown to us when we visited it. For example, their garden produces food and herbs that they can use instead of keeping up the cycle of consumption that plagues us. Also, their cafeteria has a cafe that is built on student employees, fair trade and equitable products. This makes the school function on sustainable means, at least more than here at Champlain College. There is also the example of the Green School, in Bali, Tulum, South Africa and New Zealand.
